Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. The public was captivated in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts with her infectious electronic pop sound. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with inspiring lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront in the world of mainstream and arty independent music. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she started preparing for the debut album.
