Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. There are more than 20 albums. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk and alternative rock. However, they also are influenced by hip-hop, jazz and punk. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement, and was among the pioneers to establish her own record label in the year 1990. A variation of the song is featured in the soundtrack to the 1999 Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate.
