Her music career started in her early teens in the time she was a part of the R&B Group B2K. Her false advertising was that she was the "cousin' of B2K rapper Lil Fizz. Sail Out The Worst Uh Huh, and Why I Love You are among her musical hits. She first made her appearance as a background singer in 2002. She sang the to the vocals of Cherry Pie on the soundtrack of The Master of Disguise. She was featured in the first video for her ex-boyfriend ORyans, titled Take It Slow. Her main focus is R&B Hip-Hop or Rap. Her popularity was boosted by her track 3:16AM that was released by the renowned publishing company A&R. The song can be downloaded as a digital download through iTunes. When she collaborated in a collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake on his album,"We're Not The Same, she received international attention. The Worst hit the number 1 spot on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop-Airplay charts in May of 2014. The song reached the 11th spot within Hot R&B/Hip-Hop. Three categories were present in her nominees for the Grammy Awards.
