April Bowlby

April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for more than 20 years. Her most well-known role is that of Kandi on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her role in the roles of Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men and Drop Dead Diva, a legal comedy/fantasy drama/comedy series. Her modeling career began in the early 1990s then moved on to films as well as television. The first time she appeared was on small screen as an extra in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This was followed by appearances on individual episodes of other series. Soon, she landed the role of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby was recognized internationally for her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web series Titans. Bowlby will reprise her role in a spinoff of the Doom Patrol series. Bowlby is also a part of TV films, including Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter. The actress made her debut on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home, later appearing as a character in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. After completing ballet classes as well as French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to enter the acting field. She was a drama student alongside Ivana Chubbuck. She was offered the role of a leading television show (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) within months of her debut Hollywood audition. Bowlby is known for her appearances in various TV programs, such as CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2006), Freddie: Sydney in 2005, Stacked: Jasmine 2007 as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg in 2007. Recently, Bowlby took on the role of Natasha as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl that loses her mother in an auto accident. Bowlby will be in the comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. The actress lives in Los Angeles. The redhead has blue eyes. She is not married, and has no children.
