Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook writer who has been awarded Emmy awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina Garten began her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon stopped her interest. She then bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. It was a huge success for 18 years, until she decided to let it go. After that, she started her first cookbook. Others followed, and so were magazine articles. Meanwhile she also had her own Food Network show was also a success. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies to equipment and storage containers. Ina has never attended an institution for cooking or was she employed in a restaurant. Her education is completely self-taught.
