She completed her studies at Ouachita's Baptist University with the degree of BSc majoring in Chemistry. Irvin has an established television career as a speaker, author and motivator. After becoming the QVC Head of the Program, she gained more popularity. She also worked as an expert in Brand Strategy. Her time with QVC was about seven years. Irvin has not revealed the reasons behind her departure from QVC. There are some who believe she was fired, however many people think that she quit her job at QVC her own.
