Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer as well as a model and actress. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. The first job she had was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best box office star in the world in just three releases. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw was married three times.
