Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and author who won several awards. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. When she was a photographer's assistant She turned her focus to acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world fame along with the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. After only three movies, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women at the box office in history. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
